ADMECO’s extensive operating theater know-how is based on direct and continuous contact with surgeons, anaesthetists and nursing staff.

An expertise culminating in optimally designed ADMECO products perfectly suited to the medical and operational demands that operating theaters are facing today.

An operating theater has to perfectly fulfil many diverse but related functions – and ADMECO‘s Integrated Concept reflects the need for perfectly harmonised components that provide wall-to-wall operating theater solutions.

The ADMECO approach divides the operating theater into a central „core zone“ and a surrounding „peripheral zone“, making it possible to meet asepsis standards while improving working conditions for both surgeons and anaesthetists.

The core zone comprises the wound area, the surgeons and instrument nurse in sterile clothing, and all sterile instruments. The peripheral zone contains the anaesthetists and all nonsterile auxiliary equipment.

ADMECO first developed this concept in 1978 – and has been applying it with great success since then. In the meantime, ADMECO has realized this concept in more than 2500 operating rooms.
